Unknown to most, Murray Falls is a spectacular location for swimming and discovery if you are passing through the Cassowary Coast.
Grab a towel and select from a range of swimming holes to cool off, spanning over hundred of meters through the bush. Pool range from deep waterholes to shallow trickling streams, so Murray Falls is great for kids to frolic in the waters.
As with all swimming holes in the region, be mindful of rain in the area as the currents can get quit strong if there has been a downpour. Visitors to the falls should also be aware that although there are an abundance of swimming spots, the falls themselves are off limits due to previous injuries and deaths that have occurred.
Surrounding Murray Falls, visitors have access to a selection of walking tracks. If you have a bit of time to spend there, BBQ facilities are also provided, as are general amenities such as toilets and showers.
