Located in the Atherton Tablelands, surrounded by lush countryside backdrops of the Great Diving Range lays Jaques Coffee Plantation. A working coffee plantation that has as much history as it does character.
Currently home to 85,000 Arabica Coffee trees, Jacques Coffee are considered to be the international innovators, setting the standards for years to come. How? They created the very first coffee harvester! You could almost say Jacques are the pioneers of the industry, yet not only for their engineering genius, but their superior coffee blends and vibrant flavours.
Roasted on the Coffee Plantation, Jaques give visitors the opportunity to try their range of roasts that have been planted, grown and processed right there on the farm. For big coffee lovers, this is certainly a treat that none should pass up. Once you’re done with a nice meal and coffee, it’s time to get the tour.
On the Jaques tours you will gain a fantastic insight into the history of the plantation, starting off with a short film in the 25 seat theatre. Move on after and you’re out and about to learn about the processes involved in the production of coffee,including the mills and harvesters. Then there’s the opportunity to get out into the fields and taste the fruit (pending seasonal availability). Finish it off with some fresh complimentary coffee and some Liqueur tasting and you’ve got fantastic value for money.

Get a birds eye view as you fly over the plantation and surrounding regions for a truly epic experience with their Micro and Gyro flights. Getting up on one of these is a truly remarkable experience. Grab a Segway and go off road on a guided tour throughout the plantation. There are over 200 acres to discover, so you certainly won’t have any issues with being bored, plus riding a Segway is really quite easy. Hop on for 5 minutes and you’ll be a pro!
